This tea is the perfect remedy to soothe a sore throat and warm the body on those extra chilly days.
Ingredients
Instructions
- In a jar with a lid, add half of the lemon and ginger in layers.
- Cover the lemon and ginger with half of the honey.
- Continue layer the lemon and ginger.
- Cover with the remaining honey until fully covered.
- Seal tight with a lid and store upside down in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Return to right-side up.
- You can continue to set upside-down then back to right side up to let the juices mingle.
- When serving, strain 2-3 tablespoons of the liquid into a cup and cover with warm water.
- Enjoy!
- (Note: this will stay good in the fridge for 14-30 days.)
