Ginger Lemon Throat Soothing Tea

This tea is the perfect remedy to soothe a sore throat and warm the body on those extra chilly days.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a jar with a lid, add half of the lemon and ginger in layers.
  2. Cover the lemon and ginger with half of the honey.
  3. Continue layer the lemon and ginger.
  4. Cover with the remaining honey until fully covered.
  5. Seal tight with a lid and store upside down in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. Return to right-side up.
  7. You can continue to set upside-down then back to right side up to let the juices mingle.
  8. When serving, strain 2-3 tablespoons of the liquid into a cup and cover with warm water.
  9. Enjoy!
  10. (Note: this will stay good in the fridge for 14-30 days.)
